Our company is a collaborative project conceived to provide Latin American artisans and metalsmiths with basic tools, raw materials, and job opportunities, aiming to enhance their manufacturing skills and to promote their handcrafted artisan jewelry on the international market.

We strive to identify communities in extreme poverty with certain artisan trade that may be marketable in the international market, aiming to increase the quality of life in those communities by helping to circulate financial resources based on the commerce of their handcrafted artisan products, under fair trade principles.

What we do
Margarita Island -often referred to as the “Isle of Pearls” due to its natural pearls hunting history- is the biggest of Venezuelan insular state of Nueva Esparta, which is also known for its cultured pearl and coral artisan jewelry.
Although the actual pearls used are imported from outside of Venezuela, black corals, sea shells and other materials are collected locally by our artisans. Jewelry is normally created in a “vintage” or “classical” style. We support local artisans and metalsmiths by purchasing their vintage jewelry designs and by presenting new designs based on international styles and trends.
